- natch 5y agoYou're making a framing error but I see I could have been more clear. The term opt-in is used to describe the entire scheme as a UX concept. The setting value itself (opt in versus opt out) is a concept at a different level. To be more clear I should have said "the default setting value is opt out"… fixed; thank you.
