People that are experts in one field tend to assume they are experts in other fields. I think this is a fundamental human flaw, rather than a personal one, because I easily make the same mistake if I’m not careful. Of course, this belief is based on the assumption on how frequently I see it. Could be confirmation bias or me trying to write off my own problems as not being mine. :)
