I do with all the tech I buy and sell. I was burned about ten years ago by two apparently-grey market Intel CPUs that I had purchased from a reputable distributor, and had to eat the warranty replacements when they both failed. Once I started checking proactively I took delivery of a few hard drives that turned out to be "of questionable warranty period", again from various reputable distributors. I immediately had them replaced with no hassle.
