Does anybody know how he ran his campaign/how campaigns are run in general? I genuinely do not know how people "campaign". Do you just hire people to walk around and knock on doors, Jehovah's Witness style?
- cobertos 5y agoThere's probably more "official" ways, but you're allowed to do whatever you want to get people's attention, within election laws. I met a guy disc golfing once who got like, 10% of the vote for a state district senate seat just by getting his name on the ballot. Then he went and shook a bunch of hands and talked to people _at_ the election place to get people to vote for him (against the election laws xD) though people did. You just need to be known. Tape poorly made signs everywhere, shake hands, go on local TV. A local judge got elected who was mostly unknown save for a very popular local Christian television channel and the news did a story on her cause she just never showed up to serve and they couldn't boot her out.
