It provides a cli mechanism for switching between igpu-only, dgpu-only, and hybrid (nvidia card sleeps unless called via prime). If you use version 3.x, everything is built into asusctl. With 4.x, they've extracted that functionality to supergfxd/supergfxctl (in the same project).
- jakogut 5y agoI'm currently using hybrid with PRIME offload and runtime D3 enabled, but no matter what, the runtime D3 status is indicated as "Not Supported".
