The metaverse race is on for Meta and Microsoft
- rvz 5y agoOr for anyone who does not like Apple or Google's 30% taxes. Meta and Microsoft are on the same side (and Microsoft still has a stake in Meta) when it comes to the app store policy issues and the metaverse can have multiple winners. It will take multiple companies and interoperability deals to make the metaverse worth it for millions of users as the walled gardens and app store taxes will become unattractive and costly for many developers. Why do you think that Meta is already taking advantage of bypassing the 30% taxes right now thanks to the in-app purchase settlement? Only for now though.
