I would want to see language versioning baked into the language. Something like being able to tag a class or module with a specific version of the language. So that if the language introduces a breaking change, I can just tag that module with a version, and then continue developing with the new version. Another interesting idea might be introducing architectural layers as a language concept wherein you can specify which layers can interact with one another and then provide some enforcement mechanism in the compiler to prevent layers from interacting
