This. More people should call standup what it really is - micromanagement.

- taf21 5y agoHad a job where that's exactly what happened- the manager took 30-40 min and went through the board, stopping at each devs name and their task. "How is this task going" Putting devs on the spot and demanding updates like you'd expect from a child doing their homework or completing their chores doesn't feel like team building...it feels like babysitting.
