Founder of Spanish social network Tuenti tortured to steal millions in crypto
- wly_cdgr 5y ago"He opened it to find four or five hooded men" ....more like one or two I'm guessing
- gwern 5y agoIf the attackers "covered up the security cameras with items of clothing as soon as they entered the property.", then there will be plenty of footage for the police to review showing he lied, quite aside from all of the cameras they would have passed on their way to a luxury penthouse apartment next to a museum in the middle of a national capital.

- GoblinSlayer 5y ago>The property where the incident took place is located in Ruiz de Alarcón street, and is a penthouse apartment next to the Prado Museum with impressive views of Retiro Park. There's stuff to steal there no matter how much he hodls.

- cirrus3 5y agoThe word torture only appears in the HN headline.
- santialbo 5y agoIt's the only source I found in English. Sources in Spanish mention being hit with a bat, cuts on the chest and being tasered.
- guenthert 5y ago"The Tuenti founder is yet to file a formal report at a police station." Uh, so this actually happened?
