India has been under Islamic & Christian colonisation for the last 1000 years, where the locally evolved cultures has been trampled on. Somehow you believe a handful of dominant castes did more harm than the colonial tyrants who massacred entire cities. The British in fact turned the richest nation to a poster child of poverty. Caste is a word that does not exist in any of the Indian languages, the word and the system were both imported from Europe.
