Just as massive railway investment for civilian use in the 19th century was key to military movement plans in the early 20th century, so swift and massive sealift for trade can be used for transporting munitions and other supplies globally, thus aiding in CCP power projection.
- sudosysgen 5y agoMilitary sealift is tiny in comparison to commercial sealift. The relative benefit of fully automated ports is pretty low actually. By far the biggest issue is getting allies to supply your ships, and military logistics ships, not trying to skimp on a few hundred port workers.
