- gibsonf1 5y agoThe Solid Pod Server provides authentication and OpenIDConnect security with PKCE dPop, so you don't have to worry about security in writing your apps. All of the user data is stored in the Pod on the Solid Pod server, so you don't have to worry about data storage either.

- geoah 5y agoNot sure what the title is referring to. “6 million pods arriving this march”. Is that a reference to a Kickstarter delivery for solid pod hardware? Is it number of people who have pledged to host pods? How did you end up with this number and why is it significant?
- gibsonf1 5y agoThe entire country of Flanders is giving personal pods to every citizen. Its interesting to me that something as big as Solid is happening and HN is fully missing it. It's a very similar situation to Tim Berners-Lee's invention of the web, those early days where we were in awe using Mosaic browsers...
