Ask HN: How would you get in touch with startup founders to share your product?
Trying to scale https://get.mymfa.io and I feel that companies that could benefit the most from the service would be:
1) small companies building a QA team (or outsourcing it)
2) startups (fintechs) getting ready to submit their app to the App Store with a Two-Factor Authentication mechanism.
I am having a hard time trying to figure out a channel to communicate efficiently to potential customers.
Thank you very much in advance for your time!
- ipaddr 5y agoTwitter might be a good channel.
- Frajedo 5y agoWas thinking that as well, but still haven't found out the best way to contact a group of potentially interested founders. Do you think cold-messaging might be worth the effort and not be too "spammy" ?
- maxk42 5y agoYou could try reaching out to founders on AngelList and Crunchbase. You might also wish to announce your product on BetaList and Product Hunt if you haven't already.
- Frajedo 5y agoThanks for the tip, I was thinking that perhaps it might be too soon to announce a v1 of the product in such lists, do you still think it might be worth it?
