Starlink nightmare: Moving service location a few feet delays orders until 2023

  > One Reddit user wrote, "I moved it from the end of my driveway to my house this morning and just looked back and [the availability date] had changed to 2022-2023." Why would you do that... you should be all set when they have your address?

Starlink is awaiting FCC approval required for it to be considered a mobile service, and until then, it's supposed to operate from a fixed location. That doesn't mean this automated pre-order system should behave this way--we're just talking about moving a future installation, not having it be mobile once installed. But if Starlink is asking people to verify/update their location, it should behave in a more user-friendly way.

I think there is something else going on. Before I moved I checked the address I was moving to and Starlink was available. After moving it is not available until the "middle of 2022".
