Really shows you what an excellent job the Apple Silicon team have been doing. Latest A series SoCs are ahead of the Android competition by miles in most metrics. I was hoping custom Google Silicon might get closer to competing, but maybe I had my expectations set far too high.

Maybe after a few more iterations it will be more competitive, maybe they actually get to design their own architecture or they could do the Google thing and just give up a few years from now and sunset tensor.
