Bugatti and Rimac: Blistering speedster and EV hypercar startup join forces
- Sohcahtoa82 5y agoAnybody making an EV hypercar needs to understand that their competition is the Tesla Roadster 2.0, which will be able to be bought for only $200,000. Though I suppose Bugatti and Tesla are not targeting the same market.
- melenaboija 5y agoAgree, although it seems to me the definition of hypercar will change some of the parameters to measure them. ie acceleration may not be valid anymore, one of the fastest production cars is now a sedan, the Tesla Plaid, that costs ~140k and is comparable to the multi million Rimac models.
