Writing a little OS for fun in rust: https://github.com/vinc/moros https://github.com/vinc/moros I started two years ago and I'm finding that project very fulfilling with lots of areas to explore. For example I recently bought an old ThinkPad to have another reference computer and played with Coreboot+SeaBIOS to understand the BIOS better. I'm also reading about the early history of Unix and how some features I'm implementing where developed in the first place. It's never ending and perfect!
