Is there any pre-commit check one can use to totally block this in my repo?
Others might have legitimate use case for this but I certainly don’t, we keep localization in known file types only.
- db48x 5y agoA pre–commit hook is just a script that returns 0 to allow the commit. If you want to block commits containing certain characters, just make a hook that runs grep -v with a suitable search expression.
