Tl;Dr: dad having cancer. I can't visit him. 24 hours ago, my dad has just been diagnosed with Stage II stomach cancer. This is by far the worst news I have ever received in my life so far. What makes it worse: my dad is in China but I am a non-Chinese citizen living in North America. It is very time-consuming for me to even get a China Visa. I heard that unless my dad is gravely ill (ICU etc.) my Visa will be denied. Suffice to say I have no motivation to work today.
