What makes you think that the node community has a well-thought-out rebuttal to a mostly academic debate about whether ideal threads could perform as well as events?
- pjscott 15y agoThe great thing about this paper is that it goes beyond academic debates over ideal threads, and actually writes code and runs benchmarks. The debate here is practical.
- scott_s 15y agoI realize that for most people, "academic" is synonymous with "moot," but all systems papers have experimental results.
