I'm surprised by this. I vividly remember that the mere suggestion of these common sense national security measures a couple of years ago would lead to others having a stroke. Ban Tik Tok next, too. It's ridiculous that we allow foreign intelligence to operate social networks in the US. And before anyone says "ackshually" in response, yes, I think it's ridiculous that other countries let FB, Google and YT operate within their borders largely unimpeded, rather than force them to create local subsidiares whose execs could be hauled off to jail for violation of local laws.
