I credit my experience with shitty startup on-calls with being able to get through the first few months of getting a pupper.
Totally agree with getting out and socializing - going to the dog park after work is a treat
- spike021 5y agoHeh, sounds like you had the opposite experience. I was on call the second week I had him and I'm a bit regretful since some extra first couple weeks' training without interruptions would've probably been better. Huge plus one. Even just seeing him play with other dogs is a huge endorphin boost for me.
