This is a very naive article. The author admits her lack of knowledge, but goes ahead and pontificates anyway. The real reason for world hunger isn't lack of food. It's that food isn't distributed to the people who need it. And the reason for that is politics. In every country, the distribution of resources is controlled by the people in power. And in many countries, those resources, whether food or something else, are hoarded by those in favor and denied to those out of favor. If you simply deliver huge quantities of food to many countries in Africa, for instance, the warlords or dictators in charge will sell it for their own profit, or give it to their friends and relatives and withhold it from their enemies. In other words, this is a problem of local politics. You can't come in from the outside and fix it, no matter how much money you spend or what kind of advanced technology you use.
