- mmffrrss 5y agoHow can this be normal? In my country (in Europe) you pay a small fee to access hospitals (between 0 and 15$). Health is public and free although you are free to choose a private hospital. A good health insurance with a nice coverage that gets you access to private hospitals costs around $50 per month. This doesn't mean that there aren't problems, public hospitals some time have long waiting lines. Nevertheless, paying 700 can't be normal in any circumstance
