I remember as a child I would often go with my parents to gather pine seeds as we have many pines where I grew up. There were really a lot to be found in the right periods, literally on the streets. Nowadays for some reason they're almost impossible to find, not sure if this happens because everyone realized how valuable they are and is rushing to gather them.
