I honestly don't want to pick you apart or complain about the sample size, I feel like some explanation is still missing here. It would help to start with that before launching into the rest of the discussion, i.e. you can start with your thesis, we can discuss that a little bit, and then you can present your supporting evidence. It is not clear to me why I need to take something seriously. My experience has been that people on social media tend to exaggerate and use hyperbole a lot.
- civilized 5y agoI explained my thesis about the pattern earlier. If your answer to that is "I don't see why I should care", well, I think it's obviously unjust, so I don't know what else there is to say. You don't have to care about every injustice I suppose?
- md8z 5y agoWell I don't think it was explained what the injustice is, so I'm sorry I still just don't understand. You mentioned that some people were punished but without really going into detail, and then I wasn't able to even see how that was related to the article. If I missed something please explain it, if you feel like it. But I don't think a bigger sample size would be convincing here because the existing samples didn't have enough information. Does that make sense? I've disagreed with people many times and faced fallout from it, and I wouldn't call it an injustice. In fact most of the time when I actually thought about why people were upset at me, and I listened to what they had to say, it turned out that I was the one who was in the wrong.
