I've worked with a lot of execs or managers who seem surprised that after they say something, one time, in a meeting, it didn't register with the team. People some time don't pay attention. Or they do, but they forget. They have habits in their actions and way of thinking. So I agree. You have to repeat yourself.

It might be because managers talk all the time while saying nothing. So nobody really listens anymore. It was certainly true in most meetings I experienced.
