It is an interesting language, but it is very low-level and it lacks many functions that you have to implement from scratch. For example, as I remember, there is no filter with custom response curve. Or there is a low-pass filter but you cannot choose its type, rolloff slope or modulate it with an oscillator. There is no spectrum viewer. So you will have to reimplement functions that are built-in into modern DAWs. And it is not an easy task, for example, to implement filters you'll have to deal with equations with complex numbers.
