The article is saying that China flies planes over its airspace. The state of the media today.
This has nothing to do with Taiwans airspace. The invented arbitrary concept of Taiwan's air defence identification zone (ADIZ) includes even the Chinese mainland. So Chinese planes flying over the Chinese mainland are counted as flying over Taiwan ADIZ.

- giuliomagnifico 5y agoIt's a bit controversal because Taiwan reclaims that air space as Taiwan air space but since China does not recognize Taiwan as a sovereign state, it sees that space as Chinese air space. In the end, if you -China- don't want to spark a controversy, you don't fly, without reasons, over what another state claims "own space", but China is doing it. So it's clear that it want to annoy and make pressions on Taiwan.
