Not in US:

- syshum 5y agoI think the Parent comment is referring to non-immigration population increases. The US Population growth is due to immigration not from citizens having more children. Immigration, and US Born children to immigrants account for 75 percent of annual population increase for the US.
- almost_usual 5y agoImmigrants buy homes, especially ones who work in high paying fields.
- cozzyd 5y agoNatural increase has essentially stopped. Immigration helps but there are probably not going to be enough immigrants to keep growing for much longer unless the US starts allowing Canada-level immigration (see that growth curve steadily decreasing). It will take a while though, probably another 40 years or so until the US sees declines, but growth rates will collapse in the coming decades unless demographic trends change.
