Google made the choice to implement QUIC in a library instead of getting into the OS distros. This was great for them as they have a monopoly on web browsers, but not so great for all of the other tooling that now is in need of a QUIC library to interoperate with these services.
- richdougherty 5y agoWas Google's implementation closed source or was it just not integrated into existing libraries/distros?
