- blago 5y agoWow, you are right. Slovenia totally escaped me. For some reason I don't associate Slovenia with Yugoslavia. In my mind it was always it's own thing. Maybe there was less fighting during the dissolution and we didn't hear as much in the news.
- the_monocle 5y agoThere was basicly zero fighting. And slovenia was already before the breakup the richest state of yugoslavia
- input_sh 5y agoIts war for independence is called Ten-Day War and it had <100 casualties. Still not as good as Macedonia's independence (0 casualties), but not comparable to Croatia or Bosnia neither.
