- CRConrad 5y ago"The cloud" was always bullshit. There is no "cloud"; it's only other people's computers.
- rambambram 5y agoI know now, but I once fell into that trap. Just a couple of years I leave the programming field, I come back and everybody talks about 'the cloud', I really thought for another couple of years that I missed something important that only I didn't understand. :')
- CRConrad 5y agoYeah, so did I for a while -- even though I never left the industry! But as soon as I tried to find out how this "magic" was supposed to work, it evaporated.
