I'm all for stronger privacy laws however banning analytics and forcing Google to pixelate houses does more harm then good. Laws like that give people a false sense of privacy. House is still visible from the street and private info can still be tracked online. Privacy advocate should focus on education and making sure it's explained what is shared with who. If it's clear what you're sharing by signing up to a service and everyone understand what that means we would all be better off.
