Most times are 10 users uploading, and 5-10 users reading. The readers are external partners. Hashid is to obfuscate ids we have in another system so these external people cannot tie the data back due to privacy issues. It generates about 1000 rows of data across 4 PostGresql tables in a given day. I like how the algorithm has been well supported across languages. We have no problems with it on the Python side. An analyst runs monthly reports using R against the data (so about 30k records pulled. Numbers are summarized and stats are generated. The hashing isn't a bottleneck at all.
