Moving to Canada from Belgium, one of the most frustrating things is the banking ecosystem. It feels so far behind on what I'm used to, from the banking apps to transferring money to having had to use actual _cheques_ to rent a condo. EDIT: Like paper cheques, I didn't have to use those in my 30 years in Belgium prior.
