I'm German. My government fails in many ways regarding digital services and solutions. Almost always it ends embarrassing. They waste a lot of tax money to pay contractors, who only pretend to have good solutions. Sometimes there is corruption involved. Germany has the CCC, the people there are competent in these regards. Why does our government not listen more often? Why does our burocracy fail so often? Hell, if they cannot keep a vaccination key secret I'm glad we have no nuclear weapons under our own administration.
