    Compared to the Netherlands, the rate (per 100K inhabitants) is double for UK, Sweden and Germany, and 10x higher in the US. Are you looking at the absolute count?

      Homicides per 100K inhabitants in 2018, according to the Wikipedia article: United States: 4.96 United Kingdom: 1.20 Sweden: 1.08 Germany: 0.95 Netherlands: 0.56
