so that why have the court case at all?
- robbedpeter 5y agoDue process also involves a right to be heard, and the right of a society to hear the proceedings, testimony, and evidence. In this case, it puts some damning testimony on record that can be referenced in other cases, preventing the cia from abusing privileges of classification to hide excessive behaviors and crimes.
