There are surely some crucial details missing here. What is this network?
- adamfeldman 5y agoI can imagine they’re using UPS Delivery Intercept, or another similar capability for redirecting in-transit packages within the carrier network. Perhaps they automatically apply the intercept after the initial dropoff by the sender. https://www.ups.com/us/en/help-center/tracking-support/delivery-intercept.page https://www.ups.com/us/en/help-center/tracking-support/deliv...
- neoterra 5y agoI doubt it, I’ve used intercept before it was expensive. Almost 20 bucks
- adamfeldman 5y agoIf they're doing intercepts on every package they're (hopefully for their sake!) using a negotiated rate. It would be a very non-standard use of intercept regardless. Even at $20, still cheaper than receiving and reshipping (labor + postage).
