Cannabinoids are a promising future treatment for depression; however, right now they are unproven. There is already stigma associated with being on antidepressants. The consequences of discontinuing SSRIs or SNRIs can range from catastrophic to deadly. Please keep in mind that posts promoting alternative treatments can add to that stigma.
