I no longer speak to several family members because they were radicalized thanks to information & groups that Facebook fed to them.
Is it FB’s fault that they fell for it? No. Is it FB’s fault for recommending them very obvious QAnon groups? Yes. I’m glad it seemingly hasn’t effected you, but doesn’t mean others don’t feel that impact.
- tmule 5y agoSomewhat tangential: It’s a reflection of how weak family ties in the west are. Politics almost never rends families apart in the rest of the world.
