Szasz would look for structures in a person’s life, past and present, that undermine mental health. Just a lot of talking and feeling and expressing. It's one of the best decisions I've been ever made. YMMV, people might say mine wasn't real depression, but there is more than just medication. Medication being the only solution to all of mental illness is a very American view of the matter. And by American I mean prescription-happy.
