Rejecting someone three times from something is pretty brutal. How bad could this candidate have been? Is Codeacademy like the Rhodes Scholarship or something?

One of my luckiest breaks was when a college that rejected me the first time around accepted me the second time I applied. Really grateful for that opportunity.
- sngz 5y agoyou should ask how bad the interviewing process in this industry is instead
- lbriner 5y agoHow is it brutal? Dependeing on the job and the applicants CV/interviewing skills, it would be easy to consider that she/he is not a good fit for the company or the role. The fact that they have created their own site is not a reflection on Codecademy, just that the interview process is not necessarily great or even that they would still not be a good fit for CA for whatever reason. I don't like the tone of naming the company then basically sticking two fingers up at them "look at me now". There is a tonne of stuff involved in these sorts of sites and we will see whether they can keep up or not.
