Gonna be interesting to see how Shopify develops (or the opposite) over the coming 1-2 years. For future reference (based on LinkedIn data), "Engineering" is currently 25% of the headcount, followed by "Support" (12%), "Sales" (8%) and "Operations" (8%). Fastest growing departments this year (2021) is "Human Resources" (74%), "Support" (58%) and "Program and Project Management" (47%).
