  While somewhat true in general, there isn't a lot of evidence in the article in support of the headline. Some high-end stamp collections have fetched good prices. OK. But at least for the population the article is talking about, interest is dwindling. And it's hard for me to believe that, in general, either stamp or coin collecting has the mainstream appeal that it once had.
