I like how ZTE has approached the issue of adding a rear-facing camera without intruding on screen/bezel real estate - they just put the camera under the display in the Axon 20. That’s the kind of innovative thinking I’d expect from Apple.
- acdha 5y agoI'd be quite surprised if Apple wasn't working on it but note that they're also using that space for FaceID which involves a complex sensor array in addition to the camera and that's critical to the device's security, which isn't something I'd rush on either.
- fortran77 5y agoMy Windows Surface Laptop has a Face ID style 3D camera (I log in with my face) and there's no notch.
