Netflix says algorithm is protected by First Amendment
- Miner49er 5y agoThis lawsuit is interesting, and could hold water depending on what data Netflix uses about it's users to customize recommendations. I wonder if information about what data is used will become public as a result of this lawsuit? I'm not a lawyer.
- aluminum96 5y agoI really resent the "speechification" of everything in modern constitutional jurisprudence. Our rights to free political and personal speech are undermined when lumped together with campaign finance contributions, or an algorithm for video recommendations.
