The most depressive thing in managed langauges is that nobody figured out how to use low-level APIs or at least how to bring some abstractions for graphics (2d,3d) that would fit in 99% of the scenarios. Something like three.js in the JS world. Hack, Microsoft didn't even catch with the React/SwiftUI/Compose trend to offer a better model of declarative UI programming.
