Slashdot was bought out by Dice.com, then it became more corporate. Signal to noise ratio was bad for advertisements and comments. Seems like chatbots got into the comment section trolling users to try a product.
- the_only_law 5y agoOne thing HN has been really good at is keeping spam like that out. You’ll see it occasionally on “new” but it’s gone just as fast.
